IN TRANSIT, DON'T BE THAT PERSON

DRIVE

WITHOUT

APOLOGIES

Every year, the month of May is aimed at raising awareness in traffic due to the Maio Amarelo movement, which was born with the proposal to draw society's attention to the high rate of deaths and injuries in traffic throughout the world.

In 2017, concerned about the high rate of traffic accidents and experiencing the day-to-day life of the main hospitals in Rio de Janeiro, specialists from the Ipiranga Orthopedic Center (COI) got together and launched the “Drive Without Excuses” campaign. The action made an alert for those who always justify their mistakes behind the wheel after causing an accident.

The result was excellent: more than 10 million people reached on Social Networks and highlighted in the movement's official report in 2017.

In 2018, with the motto " IN TRANSIT, DON'T BE THAT PERSON",  we will continue the campaign with actions on Social Media and also with our patients.
